As much as 72 kiosks at JS 33 Santa on Jalan Cipaku 1, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta demolished, Thursday (3/19). Mayor of South Jakarta, Syamsuddin Noor led the demolishment at 7.30 AM.

At the first, the traders protested against the demolishment by closing down the roads with wood and flower pot. Subsequently after negotiating and coaching process they became defenseless and directly disbanded after saw heavy equipment razing their 20 years kiosks.

Noor stated that his party had sent warning letter and demolishment warrant (SPB) for them to leave immediately. “Totally there were 72 kiosks that we demolished today,” he stated.

In order to realizing orderliness, the demolishment must be done. Because it caused heavy congestion there.

“We will implement one way direction later. Due to every Saturday night and Sunday there was always dense of vehicles,” he disclosed.
